I am currently enrolled in school to become a dental assistant. I am hoping that with first hand knowledge by working in the actual field and essentially starting from the ground up, I would like to be able to get to become a dentist one day. That is just my personal goal, whatever works for your circumstances would be best. Great field though, I am loving all that I learn everyday. Good luck!
dental assisting a dead end job? yeah sure for your average lazy ass dental assistant. dental assistants now a days can go back for more education to become ‘extended function dental assistants’ where they do far more complex and advanced things in the dental office like radiology, forming crowns, ect. then if you like that, you can go back to school to become a dental hygeinist which pays REALLY well, DA is NOT a dead end job!
