How to Be an Ethical Veterinary Technician

Furthermore, it is the effort of the veterinary technicians to collaborate with all the members in veterinary medical line to ensure quality health care services for all animals as well as their owners.

All the vet techs are carrying an important social responsibility. They are accountable in promoting public health. They play an important role in assisting with the control of animal diseases and informing the public about the related diseases which may affect human health. They are also responsible in maintaining a balanced environment.

As we know, all the vet techs are requested by the state governments to attend continuing education programs every 2 years for renewal of their license. It is a must for them to obtain latest information and new technology from time to time. Apart from the legislation, as ethical vet techs, they should always remain competent in the veterinary technology through their own commitment in lifelong learning.
